Sewing box from Bombay, western India, in sandalwood and micro marquetry of stone, metal, ivory and ebony, it is composed of a writing case and a removable mirror, many covered or open compartments inside, 19th century Indian work, Vizagapatam Sadeli, note missing marquetry.
